Is Spring Here Yet?
Just when I thought the spring season is right around the corner, since the cherry blossoms are practically in full bloom, Mother Nature played a prank. There was a hail storm Thursday afternoon and the temperature suddenly dropped to about 32 degree that night. It totally ruined my mood for whatever I havd planned for the weekend.
Two weekens ago, we took Benetton to Washington D.C. for the Smithsonian Kite Festival. It happened to be the first day of Cherry Blossoms Festival as well, so there was a pretty hefty crowd at the mall. However, the perfect weather and wonderful company made it a very enjoyable trip and all of us had a lot of fun!
The next day, I took Benetton with me to Cynthia’s surprise baby shower at Karen’s. On our way to Poolesville, it was such a beautiful drive and even Benetton was standing up the whole time looking out of the car window for the most scenic views! I can finally be confident to say that Benetton is good with children and other pets (dog and cat) because he was getting along extremely well with Milo (the grumpy cat), Echo (the hyper dog), Kira (Karen’s big girl), and Corinne (Karen’s baby girl)!
I cannot wait for the weather to warm up! I am so ready to go biking!
